44 GALLERY 10^th Anniversary Exhibition.
I specially chose Calendar of Life,1994, Cai Guo Qiang, This work represents an annotation to this journey. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter are constantly circulating in life. A dialogue between contemporary art works and 10 African tribal art works, symbolizing the different stages of the decade, as well as the life of 44 Gallery.

Knight statue of Africa doesn't limit to ride on horse, it can be crocodile, dog, guardian beast and so on. Different combinations also add a lot of fun and creativity.

It's because of liking that a sense of value arises in our hearts.
If there's no liking, even something incredibly expensive holds meaning only for the one who owns it.

Amidst damage, perfection can still be seen; through the passage of time,eternity is felt.
This exhibition centers on the Dogon tribe’s anthropomorphic sculptures from Africa and the 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle baseball card, exploring how “imperfection” becomes a shared aesthetic language across different cultures.
Revered as the “Mona Lisa of baseball cards,” this piece not only embodies the ultimate symbol and rarity in the history of collectible cards.

Evolving from simple animal totems, the work merges with the natural scenery of the wilderness. Through varying shades and layers of black and white, it expresses the relationship between the hope and beauty in one's heart and the realities of life.

For the first time, the artist expresses their work through on-site creation in darkness. Over the course of 15 days, wearing a headlamp, they explore all possibilities as if working inside a cave...
